Directly assists veterans, their families and survivors to obtain the federal, state and county benefits for which they are eligible. We counsel and assist in preparing and submitting claims and applications for benefits and act as their representative to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Lehigh County.
LVAS Adult Day Center (The Center) helps aging adults remain in the community as long as possible and provide support and respite to their caregivers.
The Center provides a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities designed to help individuals to enhance their skills and abilities, and to help them maintain independence and quality of life. Activities include therapeutic exercise, games, arts and crafts, music, peer interactions, and special entertainment. Our staff assist individuals with personal care and routine health monitoring.
The TSU is a 52-bed sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit that provides around-the-clock nursing care, physical and occupational therapy and a full schedule of activities designed to support your individual progress.

Patients undergo a thorough assessment performed by a specialist educated in geriatrics. The assessment includes a review of their medical and social history, medications and cognitive testing. During the assessment, a specialized treatment plan will be recommended and communicated to patient’s caregiver, primary care office and other specialists. Our team focuses on the caregiver as well.

Jewel Healthcare provides anywhere from short-term skilled rehab to long-term care. Jewel can accommodate patients that have advanced pulmonary needs such as tracheostomy care and much more. Jewel also has a secured memory care unit where the residents still can participate in daily activities. Over-all we welcome everyone, even those who have more medically complex needs.
JEVS Care at Home is a registered 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization providing non-medical home care, respite, companionship and community integration support services to disabled and aging clients, ages 18+, residing in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks and Allegheny Counties in Pennsylvania. A large portion of the people we serve is part of a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver Program. These waiver programs are available throughout Pennsylvania and provide long-term care services to qualified individuals who wish to remain in their home and/or community rather than enter an institution, such as a nursing home or intermediate care facility. JEVS Care at Home also provides services to individuals through Long Term Care Insurance, private pay, and other funding arrangements.
