Serenity Hospice provides Hospice Services to all of the Lehigh Valley and Upper Bucks County.
Our mission is to distribute food and to provide resources for education and advocacy to end hunger to people in need throughout Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, and Wayne counties in partnership with over 200 agencies. The PA Senior Food Box Program is a federally-funded program that is designed to improve the health of low-income seniors by supplementing their diets with nutritious food.
Sarah Care Adult Day Center offers seniors a home away from home for their caregiving needs. It bridges the gap between independence at home and the need for assisted living or nursing home care. Located in Allentown, our professionally staffed day center connects seniors to a community of their peers in a safe and loving environment; an environment that feels like home. Friendships develop, needs are met, and seniors are able to stay in their own homes longer. Activities that are appropriate to their age, ability and interest are of paramount importance. Dignity and respect are the cornerstone of our caregiving. Assistance with personal care needs, medication management, nutritious meals and socialization are just a few of the services we provide. However, the genuine care comes from the qualified and well-trained staff. In many ways, they become an extension to the family and care for the clients the same way one would care for their own – with love and joy. Home isn’t just a place – it’s a feeling. And Sarah Care feels like a place to call home. SarahCare also offers SarahCare at Home. Personal care aides that assist with activities of daily living.

Removal and disposal of any unwanted items. From 1 item to 1000s; complete clean-out of houses, etc. when needed. We will not only haul the items away, but also ensure their best and proper disposal. We start with Donation Centers, then Scrap Yards, next are Certified Recycling Centers for the electronics and toxic stuff, and then lastly, the landfills. When done, we’ll sweep clean to impress!

For over 53 years, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley has been providing home-bound seniors and adults with disabilities freshly prepared, healthy meals to ensure they are well-fed and can live independently for as long as possible. We deliver meals Monday – Friday with the help of volunteers who care about our clients and provide a friendly wellness check. In addition to home delivered meals, we offer a variety of added services such as grocery shopping, food pantry and senior food box deliveries, pet food for furry companions and shelf stable emergency food boxes. Fees are based on a sliding scale and determined after a home assessment. Referrals are welcomed.
For more than 30 years, we’ve been making a difference in patients’ lives by providing excellent service and compassionate care. We offer skilled nursing, personal care, companion care, respite care and behavioral care for individuals with chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities.
